摘要

A spacer for a liquid crystal display device for improving light escaping by restricting the orientation of liquid crystal molecules round the spacer. This issue can be resolved by using polymer particles holding long-chain alkyl groups on the surface. The polymer particles are used as a spacer for the surface. The polymer particles are used as a spacer for the liquid crystal display device, and the layer of the long-chain alkyl group restricts the orientation of the liquid crystal molecules round the spacer.
