Dynamic computerised monitoring and control of pressure injection moulding unit

This process monitors and/or controls a pressure injection moulding unit. Desired settings are loaded manually into the computer associated with the machine. Alternatively or in addn., other fixed predetermined input values form the so-called desired operating profile curves and/or desired points with defined positions are input. During an injection cycle process parameters are measured by sensors and supplied to the computer, to construct the so-called actual profile curves. Process monitoring or control is carried out by comparison of actual and desired profiles and/or corresp. points. Also claimed is a measurement system, essentially as described in the procedure.
