FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: clutch has movable clutch part fitted on the shaft, mechanism for connecting having the adjusting nut mounted inside the housing, carrying lever kinematically connected with the movable clutch, locking device made up as projections perpendicularly arranged on the lever, and two pairs of lugs rigidly secured to the end face of the nut. The projections interact with the diametrical groove on the end face of the shaft. The space between the end face of the movable clutch part and nut allows the clutch part to be moved at a height of engagement of teeth. The lugs are received in the end face slots made in the housing and used for interaction with the lever. The lugs are spaced to provide interaction of them and groove with one of the projections on the lever when the clutch operates as an overrunning clutch. The kinematic connection is made up as a flexible member that is a part of the device. The flexible member is set in the radial slots in the housing for permitting a contact and movement together with the movable clutch part to allow freely rotatable conditions.
