FIELD: optical instrumentation engineering, space telescope construction. SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at design and manufacture of large-size optics for space positioning. Reduced-weight mirror is composed of monolithic unit with reflecting working and rear sides having T-shaped meridian section and continuous thin plate permanently joined to rear surface. System of weight reducing holes in monolithic unit has radial-ring structure, cross-section areas of all holes are equal. Radial and ring ribs of weight-reducing structure are continuous over entire extent. Attachment points of mirror are arranged at radius optimal from point of view of deformation. Proposed reduced-weight mirror has high weight-reduction degree, about 85% with preservation of sufficient rigidity of structure. EFFECT: reduced weight of mirror with preservation of sufficient rigidity. |
