FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device is spiral 1 having eye 2 with slit 3 on the sharp end and wing nut 4 attached to the opposite end of the needle. Ligature has loop with brush having flexible petals. The loop is to be set on the needle end and the ligature is passed through eye 2. The needle is introduced by piercing the wound wall or its borders. The needle penetrates the tissues around the wound canal by applying rotation movement by means of wing nut 4 reaching the needed depth together with the ligature. On rotating needle 1 in opposite direction by means of wing nut 4, insignificant ligature tension takes place causing brush petals expand and fixing ligature ends. Rotation of needle 1 being continued, the needle will be taken out and removed. Tending ligature end enveloping the wound canal in spiral form causes the wound to close. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in suturing wounds. 1 dwg |
