DETACHED RETINA TREATMENT METHOD

FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: method for treatment of toally or subtotally detached retina with central and paracentral raptures involves administration of liquid silicon in the vitreous cavity to the rapture level and hermetic sealing of the rapture by implantation of a collagen copolymer filling. The diameter of the filling is by 1/3 smaller than the diameter of the rapture. The abutment of the retina is attained by administration of liquid silicon. EFFECT: simpler and more effective method.
