Reinforcement system in which a flexible shaft section (41) is arranged between the spindle end (36) and the key rod (51). A curvable protective sleeve (45) is fitted between the main union (11,30) and the protective tube (52). The shaft section and the protective sleeve form an adapter (40) which bridges the angle (47) between the longitudinal axis (55) of the key rod on one side and the axis (13) of the spindle end on the other. The shaft and the sleeve are made as a preassembled unit.
