Herbicidal compositions and treatment on the basis of aminotriazole

Herbicide treatment comprises application of aminotriazole at 500-5000 g/ha and a triazinone of formula (I) (where R = 1-4C alkyl) at less than 300 (pref. 200 and esp. 100) g/ha such that both cpds. are present together on the vegetation. Ratio of (I) : aminotriazole is 1-14.3 (pref. 2.5-4 and esp. 3)%. Also claimed are herbicide compsns. based on aminotriazole, contg. (I) in the proportions described above plus conventional adjuvants and/or supports.
