ACUTE HERPETIC RETINA NECROSIS SIMULATION METHOD

FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: method involves instillation of one drop or two drops of 0.25% Dicaine solution in the conjunctiva of white mice, and the vitreous body is infected with herpes virus (strain L, infection titer higher than 10TCD/0.1 ml). The retina is examined by the 3-7th day post-infection. EFFECT: more accurate method.
