The door comprises a tubular frame (1), on two pivots (7,8), which supports a cattle bridge (2) allowing passage of cattle to the milking room exit. The bridge is located at a height of 1 cm above the concrete (3) on the upper part of two platforms. The door which has a glass panel (14) is able to make quarter turn rotations. When rotating from left to right the door gives the cattle access to the milking room door exit. An automatic lock (5) is operated by the animal's weight. Right to left rotation allows human passage from the dairy to the milking room whilst blocking the cattle access. A safety ramp prevents the cattle sliding onto the lower platform in the treatment room.
