FIELD: aeronautical engineering. SUBSTANCE: slings of external stores embrace special rollers provided with braking device which is controlled remotely (automatically or manually). Cargo gripping members (hooks) are secured to these rollers. In flight, cargo is rigidly secured in requires position (at minimum drag, for example); slings and rollers are braked. In mounting, suspension is more "soft" due to unbraking the rollers which are rolling over slings reducing the dynamic loads in starting and braking the cargo orientation device, as well as in case of catching the cargo by obstacles in mounting.
