FIELD: sea platform construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: methods permits usage of existing self-raising floating drilling rig for transporting superstructure of sea platform and installing it on supporting unit of stationary sea platform. Gantry structure with drilling tower located on deck of floating rig is replaced into bow part of it and instead, platform superstructure is positioned on cleared place at shore base. Then, floating drilling rig is towed to supporting block of sea platform preliminarily installed in open sea, floating rig body is raised up to level the supporting surfaces of stationary platform deck and superstructure deck, superstructure is then transferred to sea platform and secured on its deck.
