FIELD: medicine; surgery. SUBSTANCE: method involves isolation of both the distal part of the broadest muscle of the back with its skin integument and the proximal part of the muscle with the vascular-nerve bundle remaining intact. The muscle is cut off the small prominence of the shoulder bone. The fascial case of the muscular part of the flap is restored, and the skin-fascia-muscle transplant is applied on the thorax and layer-to-layer fixed on the surrounding tissues. EFFECT: more reliable prevention of transplant atrophy and relapse.
