Rear seat belt arrangement

A three point seat belt is provided for a centre rear seat passenger by making separate lap 22 and torso 28 belts which both connect to the same buckle 18. The torso belt has its end fixed in a beam 26 mounted across the vehicle behind the rear seats, and in a preferred embodiment, the beam 26 is removable.
