A protective device made of hard plastic material for releasable attachment to a gas cylinder comprises an annular base and an upstanding cylindrical sidewall with a vertical cutline. The device may include latching means, such as a buckle and strap, adjacent the cutline. The annular base may include three wheels, one of which has a parking brake and the sidewall may include a gas level indicator. In use, the device fits around the lower end of a gas cylinder to prevent damage to the cylinder, flooring and users. |
