FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: flexible shaft comprises a means for transmitting a torque and end reinforcement rigidly connected with the means. The means is made up as a cylinder defined by twisting of the bank of wires of round cross-section so that each subsequent bank embraces the previous one in the opposite direction.
