FIELD: transport engineering; automobile accessories. SUBSTANCE: internal rear view mirror has plastic housing 2 with fixed-in reflector 1 and holder in form of ball joint consisting of bracket 4 and two cam mechanisms with cams 7 and 8 placed inside collects 5 and 6 one of which being split ball support located in spherical hole 3 on reflector housing. Collet 6 of bracket is rigidly secured in cylindrical hole 13 on plate 14 installed on automobile body. Cavities are made on inner surfaces of collets 5 and 6. Bosses made on cam end faces are fitted in cavities. Reflector housing and bracket are made of plastics of hardness less than that of cams.
