METHOD OF PRESERVING SKINS

FIELD: leather industry. SUBSTANCE: in order to reduce time of preserving skins, the process is recommended to be conducted under action of vibration with frequency 10-25 Hz and amplitude 2-3 mm for 16-24 h. Flesh side of skins is preliminarily covered with homogeneous layer of zeolite and antiseptic. After standard humidity is attained, skin is shaken off from zeolite and transferred to storehouse. EFFECT: accelerated process.
