<p>The device described is for setting the priority of an electrical socket in an electrical installation comprising a system for controlling electrical loads by means of a central processing and control unit (13) and a plurality of peripheral units (14a, 14b, ...14n) each associated with an electrical socket. In order to set the priority by simple, inexpensive means which are not subject to inadvertent operation, the device is constituted by a block of insulating material (33) with electrical terminals which can be coupled releasably to a peripheral unit. The block (33) incorporates a resistor (27) which brings about a configuration of the peripheral unit (14) corresponding to a predetermined priority level. The number of blocks provided is the same as the number of priority levels which can be set. Each block (33) has means for identifying the priority level associated therewith. <IMAGE></p> |
