摘要 |
PURPOSE: To easily and assuredly obtain the subject new compound copolymerizable with an ethylenic double bond-contg. monomer and useful as e.g. a coating material, by reaction of a specific allyl compound with diketene. CONSTITUTION: This new compound is expressed by formula I [R<1> is a 1-10C hydrocarbon residue; X is a ring-opened lactone unit of formula II (R<a> and R<b> are each H or methyl; z is 4-8); n is 1-20]. This compound is obtained, pref. by reaction between (A) a lactone-modified allyl compound of formula III or (B) of formula IV and (C) diketene or (D) t-butyl acetoacetate as acetoacetylating agent in the presence of a Lewis acid or amine compound (e.g. triethylamine) at 20-140 deg.C (for the reaction of the component A or B with the component C) or 120-150 deg.C (for the reaction of the component A or B with the component D). |
