PURPOSE: To prepare an oily perfume formulation for a chewing gum excellent in persistence of flavor by reducing the amount of the perfume used in the chewing gum. CONSTITUTION: This oily perfume formulation for a chewing gum is obtained by solubilizing an oily perfume with a polyglycerol ester of a fatty acid prepared by esterifying a polyglycerol having <=10% sum total of contents of glycerol and diglycerol, preferably a polyglycerol ester of the fatty acid obtained by esterifying a polyglycerol having <=10% sum total of contents of the glycerol and diglycerol and <=30% sum total of contents of the glycerol, diglycerol and triglycerol. Thereby, the amount of the perfume used can be reduced from that in a conventional formulation to further sustain the flavor. |
