PURPOSE: To provide an operating unit designed to make the works involved in a combine harvester safer and less fatigable owing to the reasonable arrangement of operating levers. CONSTITUTION: The front part of an undercarriage is mounted with a control seat 6 to set on/off on the right side of the undercarriage and a front side control deck 4 and a left side control deck 5 are disposed on the front and left side of the control seat 6, respectively. The front side control deck 4 is equipped, at a right-of-center position, with a single control lever 8 for vertical movement of a reaping device through its longitudinal operation and for steering the travel direction of the undercarriage through its transverse operation. The left side control deck 5 is equipped, from the front, with a variable-speed level A for the traveling device, a control lever B for on-off operation of the power transmission to the thresher and the reaping device, and a lever 21 for the change-over operation of a waste straw treating device between waste straw cutting mode and waste straw bundling mode, successively. The lever 21 is situated behind the left side of the control seat 6. |
