PURPOSE: To obtain a novel testosterone 5α-reductase inhibitor which is effective for treating and preventing a variety of diseases in which androgenic hormone participates. CONSTITUTION: Orange peels, sage leaves and flowers, peppermint leaves, eucalyptus leaves, mugwort leaves, lavender flowers, rose flowers, rosemary leaves and the like are subjected to steam distillation and the essential oils collected as products are used as active ingredients for this inhibitor. |
