ROLLER FOR TRANSFERRING SHEET

PURPOSE: To provide a roller for transferring a sheet without slipping. CONSTITUTION: This roller has a plurality of minute pyramid-shaped projections 11 on the surface and the sectional area of the minute projection 11 in a plane perpendicular to a sheet transferring direction is larger than that in a plane parallel to the sheet transferring direction and the vertical angle of the plane parallel to the sheet transferring direction is formed in an acute angle. The minute projections 11 can firmly grasp a sheet of paper to prevent slipping between a sheet transferring roller 8 and paper: therefore they transfer the sheet without slipping.
