<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a web cutting device so designed that the cutting results in getting as short as possible in the running direction of a web. SOLUTION: This web cutting device 10 has a cutter blade 11 and an actuator 12 mounted thereon so as to produce a cutting stroke through acting upon the cutter blade 11. The actuator 12, in turn, includes several cylinders 13 placed inside a container 17, or alternatively a number of cylinders 17 placed individually in a plurality of containers. Each of the cylinders includes a piston 14 and a piston rod 15, the piston rods 15 being attached to the cutter blade 11 with a certain spacing.</p> |
