POLYCARBONATE MOLDED ARTICLE AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE: To enhance the scratch resistance, hardness and weatherability of the surface of a polycarbonate molded article by applying a specific multilayered film or sheet to a mold so that an organopolysiloxane film surface becomes the surface of a mold side and injecting molten polycarbonate into the mold to take out a molded product to cure the same. CONSTITUTION: A primer composed of an acrylic resin containing an ultraviolet absorber is applied to the surface of a polycarbonate sheet to be cured and a colloidal silica-containing organopolysiloxane compsn. consisting of organotrialkoxysilane and colloidal silica is applied to the acrylic resin film and cured in such a state that the formed film has no self-adhesiveness and does not reach a perfectly cured state until haze after 100 cycles of taper abrasion becomes 20-50%. Thereafter, a multilayered sheet is applied to the inner surface of an injection mold having a part where a radius of curvature is 3-10mmR so that the organopolysiloxane film surface becomes the surface of the mold. Next, molten polycarbonate is injected into the mold and a molded product is taken out to be cured.
