PURPOSE: To obtain a resin compsn. which, when melt molded, prevents a wave pattern from occurring on the surface of the resulting molded item by forming a specific compsn. contg. a polyolefin and a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer poorly compatible therewith. CONSTITUTION: The compsn. comprises a polyolefin (A), at least one compd. (C) selected from among 8-22C higher fatty acid metal salts, metal salts of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, and hydrotalcite, and a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (D) having an ethylene content of 68-98mol% and a degree of saponification of vinyl acetate units of 20% or higher and is further compounded with a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (B) having an ethylene content of 20-65mol% and a degree of saponification of vinyl acetate units of 96% or higher before being used. Desired results are effectively obtd. esp. when a premixture of ingredient A with ingredients C and D is mixed with ingredient B and then melt molded. The compounding ratio of ingredient A to ingredient B is usually (60:40)-(99.9:0.1). |
