<p>PURPOSE: To efficiently separate Al having high additional value an iron by heating used steel cans having Al caps at a specific temp., treating these steel cans with a rotary type impact crushing machine and subjecting the cans to magnetic sepn. CONSTITUTION: The used steel cans having the Al caps are first heated to 300 to 650 deg.C and coating materials, dust, moisture, etc., which are impurities are removed at the time of separating the Al and iron from the used steel cans. Impact is then applied thereon to crush the cans by using the rotary type impact crushing machine (rotary impact mill, etc.,) and thereafter, the Al and the iron are separated by magnetic sepn. or sp. gr. sepn. (using a wind sieving and separating machine, etc.). The steel cans are preferably previously cut to a specified size at the time of heating. As a result, the Al having the high additional value and the iron are efficiently obtd.</p> |
