PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the filling works of proper abnormal opening R spaces in a building structure by using an expansible insulating assembly formed of fiber batts for heat-insulating a building. SOLUTION: Glass fibers in common use are used as a shape conformable insulating material, and no binder is contained. The shape conformable insulating material is arranged, separating a pair of inorganic fiber batts 20 formed of top face sections 24, base sections 25 and side face sections 26 between beams 14. When the thickness of the fiber batts 20 is set in approximately 240 mm at that time, the fiber batts 20 are expanded and an opening 16 is formed in height of approximately 40 mm, and the opening 16 is reduced largely. Accordingly, a partially convected air current is decreased, and the air current is removed in many cases. |
