An anchor tool (1) with a hollow shaft has a screw blade (4) and a number of holes (5) distributed over its length. A cutting head (2) with a number of angled rotating cutters (3) is placed at the further end. Also claimed is the method of fixing an anchor in the ground using the tool (1) described above. After being screwed to the required depth, a hydraulic hardener is forced through the shaft to extrude from the openings (5). The hardener is present in the cutting head (2) and any channels.
