PURPOSE: To produce an ink jet recording fabric capable of printing a precise and clear image by forming a boehmite porous layer in a fabric substrate, then carrying out the rubbing and loosening treatment and further laminating a paper or a film on one surface thereof. CONSTITUTION: A boehmite sol, polyvinyl alcohol and a cation-modified acrylic resin are respectively blended at 100:8:10 solid weight ratio to prepare a boehmite coating liquid. A knitted fabric using cation-dyeable polyester fiber yarns is used as a substrate. immersed in the boehmite coating liquid, squeezed and dried to form a boehmite porous layer at 2-60g/m<2> coating amount on the fiber surfaces constituting the knitted fabric. The rubbing and loosening treatment is then carried out and a paper having a spray paste is applied to one surface is laminated thereonto to afford a fabric for ink jet recording. |
