PURPOSE: To reduce pressure loss and decrease noises of a fan, by shifting the winding start point of the nose of a scroll easing from the exit face thereof to the winding end point side of the easing, in an airconditioner in which a centrifugal fan is installed on a fitting plate. CONSTITUTION: In a two-directionally blowing indoor machine for an airconditioner, heatexchangers are arranged in the right and left longitudinal direction of the body case 1 of an indoor unit and a fitting plate 3 for a fan is fixed to the body case through a water receiver so as to support the heatexchanger. The fan device containing a centrifugal fan 6 inside a spiral scroll easing 7 which can suck air from both right and left sides is supported on the fitting plate 3. In this case, the winding start point is designed so that it is shifted from the scroll casing exit face 10 to the winding end point 11 side of the casing, in the nose 8 of the scroll casing 7. In this way, the stream near the nose 8 is easily dispersed and the pressure loss is reduced as a whole. |
