<p>PURPOSE: To enable fastener element lines to be attached in a dimensionally stable state and firmly, not to be split in meshing even when used. CONSTITUTION: In a knitted slide fastener wherein a train of fastener element lines 5 is knitted into an element mounting portion 2 of a fastener tape 1 having a base fabric of warp knitting simultaneously with the formation of the fastener tape, chain stitch loops are formed with a chain stitch yarn 15 at the outermost end portions of the fastener element mounting portion 2. In these chain stitch loops a plurality of weft inserting yarns 17, 18 are alternately confounded and reversed, respectively, to form the base fabric of the fastener element mounting portion 2. At the same time, the fastener element lines 5 are knitted into this base fabric with two fixing chain stitch yarns 10, 10 for fixing.</p> |
