PURPOSE: To provide a method and a device for production control for sufficiently answering requirement reducing an inventory amount. CONSTITUTION: Present processing information of a main product line memorized in a passage information file 14, production time of each work in process for each working steps memorized in a main line lead time table 16, production time allotted to each work for each parts necessary for each working steps memorized in a subline lead time table 18 are input by a production instruction preparing portion 20. Judging from the production time of each work for each working steps in the main product line and the production time of each work for each parts in the subline product line, production order of each work for each working steps in the main product lines are transposed in order to minimize an inventory amount and the works are produced in a subproduct line in the transposed order. |
