PURPOSE: To obtain an interior material comprising a non-woven fabric integrally having the support function of a substrate and the characteristic aesthetic function of a surface design pattern and further having a soft touch, an improved cushioning property and an excellent sound-shielding and absorbing property. CONSTITUTION: A design pattern is applied to the surface of a non-woven fabric substrate (a-1) comprising short fibers and having an average main part thickness of 2-100mm and an average apparent density of 0.01-0.8g/cm<3> . Short fibers are further flocked on the treated surface. Since the non-woven fabric has an excellent characteristic aesthetic property and an improved sound-shielding and absorbing characteristic and provides a comfortable residential space, the non-woven fabric is suitably used for the dividing surfaces of the residential spaces and the interiors of vehicles, such as ceilings, walls and floors (carpets). |
