PURPOSE: To form a laser beam spot of a low directional shape. CONSTITUTION: A laser block 1 is provided with three laser optical systems 6-8. A condensing lens group 12-14 are each stored in a lens-barrel 15-17. Laser beams generated by each semiconductor laser 9-11 are converged by the corresponding condensing lens group 12-14 so as to be focused on an object to be irradiated, and are emitted from each emitting end 6a-8a of the laser optical system 6-8. Each laser optical system 6-8 is arranged in such a manner that each is inclined at an equal angle toward the center axis A of the three optical systems so that the laser beams are superposed on the object. Since the light source is a semiconductor laser, the optical spot becomes elliptical which is formed on the object by the beams from each optical system 6-8. Semiconductor lasers 9-11 are arranged so that the long axes of the optical spot may form an angle of 60 degrees with each other. |
