PURPOSE: To judge whether the mold vulcanization molding method is to be applied to a used tire or not by calculating the outside diameter of the upper surface of the outermost layer belt and the outside diameter of a buff adjustment surface from the displacement of a tread groove bottom, the widths including the largest width from the displacement of the outer surface of a side wall, the dimensions of the periphery of the cross section from the outside diameter of the buff adjustment surface and the width of the side wall. CONSTITUTION: The displacement of the surface of a tread groove bottom 5 is measured for several specimens by a sensor 40 during one turn of a used tire 1, the outside diameter C of the tread groove bottom 5 is calculated, the dimensions of the outside diameter F of the upper surface of the outermost layer belt are calculated from the outside diameter C, and the outside diameter D of a buff adjustment surface 6 is calculated. The displacement of several positions on the upper surface of a side wall part 7 is measured by a sensor 50, and the width dimensions including the dimensions of the largest width W3 are measured. From the dimensions of the outside diameter D of the buff adjustment surface 6, the width dimensions of the outer surface of the side wall part 7 including the largest width W3 , etc., the periphery dimensions of the cross section of a base tire 9 are calculated. |
