PURPOSE: To make an inlet air silencer into compact in size and facilitate a setup into a narrow space by installing this inlet air silencer in the upper part of a throttle body, and making either side of an inlet air intake pipe and an intake inlet pipe of this inlet air silencer extend downward and almost parallel from the inlet air silencer. CONSTITUTION: A throttle body 32 with a built-in throttle valve 32V is set up in an almost central part in the cross direction, in front of an engine block small assembly, and the throttle body 32 and a symmetrical surge tank 31L are interconnected to each other through an air passage (elbow) 33 brnached symmetrically from the throttle body 32. Then it is constituted so as to induce air from the upside by way of the inlet air silencer 34 consisting of those of symmetrical inlet air intake pipe 34L, inlet air silencer 34V and central intake inlet pipe 34C, into this throttle body 32. Either side of the inlet air intake pipe 34L and the intake inlet pipe 34C is made up of being extended downward and almost parallel, therefore the compactification of the inlet air silencer 34 is well promoted. |
