PURPOSE: To automatically stop draining from a drain pipe without implementing any additional operation when a drain tank is removed from a main unit, in a draining device of an indoor-installed air conditioner wherein condensate formed in an evaporator provided within the main unit of the indoor-installed air conditioner is received by a drain pan and discharged to a drain tank through a drain pipe. CONSTITUTION: A stop valve 5 is provided in a drain pipe 4 formed in 1 bottom of a drain pan 2 for receiving condensate. When a drain tank 7 is installed in a main unit 1, a leg 5a of the stop valve 5 is pushed upward by a stop valve opening plate 6 to open the drain pipe 4 and when the drain tank 7 is removed from the main unit 1, the stop valve 5 moves downward to close the drain pipe 4. |
