<p>PURPOSE: To satisfactly make a character emit a light and its afterglow even after stopping a light source, so as to improve visibility, by containing an accumulative emitting pigment in a coating, in a number plate with the character of digit or the like printed with the coating on a plate main unit. CONSTITUTION: Characters 4 of digit or the like are floated by press work or the like in a number plate main unit 5. The number plate main unit 5 applies ground color, also to apply a coating 7 containing an accumulative emitting pigment to only the character 4. On the other hand, a light source 6 of ultraviolet lamp or the like of applying irradiation light to the character 4 is arranged in an upper part of the number plate main unit 5. The accumulative emitting pigment is a pigment of absorbing ultraviolet energy further to emit visible light even when stopped ultraviolet irradiation, to use, for instance, one kind or more of SrAl2 O4 , ZnS:Cu, CaS:Bi, (Zn, Cd) S:Cu. The accumulative emitting pigment is contained 3 to 35wt.% relating to the coating 7.</p> |
