PURPOSE: To make a device flat and compact, and to reduce manufacturing costs by rotatably supporting both ends of an input shaft for rotating a wave generator by first and second end plates in the both holding state. CONSTITUTION: A circular groove 21 is formed in the center position of a first end plate 2, and one end of an input shaft 4 is rotatably supported through a bearing 22. A through hole 31 is formed on the center part of a second end plate 3 and rotatably supported on the tip side of the input shaft 4 through a baring 32. A flexible external gear 6 is formed of a cylindrical body part 61, an external gear 62 formed on the outer periphery on the opening end on one side of the body part, an annular diaphragm 63 continued to the other opening end and perpendicularly extending outward in the radial direction, and a wall-thicked annular boss 64. A wave generator 7 is constituted of a rigid cam plate 71 having an oval outline and a bearing 72 fitted around the outer periphery of the rigid cam plate. The input shaft 4 extends by perforating the center part of the rigid cam plate 71, and this rigid cam plate 71 is fixed on the input shaft 4. |
