PURPOSE: To realize a tire pressure monitoring system, which needs no electric power, in a transmitter on the wheel side. CONSTITUTION: A transmitter 30 is installed in a wheel of an automobile, and the result of detection of a pressure sensor of the transmitter 30 is sent by means of an electric wave in order to monitor the air pressure of a tire 21. A magnet 11, which is installed on the car body side and around a wheel 20, and an electromagnetic induction part 23, which is installed on the wheel (20) side so as to generate electromotive force owing to the magnet 11, are prepared, so that the transmitter 30 is actuated by the electromotive force generated by the electromagnetic induction part 23. |
