PURPOSE: To make it possible to cut empty cans into a recyclable fine piece form by sorting the charged empty cans to steel cans and aluminum cans by a sorting mechanism section and finely cutting these cans by respectively separate cutting devices. CONSTITUTION: The steel cans are adhered to the outer periphery of the sorting mechanism section 2 by its magnetic force when the empty bottles, aluminum cans and the steel cans are pout into a charge port 11. The steel cans are then introduced to a second passage 3 according to rotation of the sorting mechanism section 2. On the other hand, the empty bottles and the aluminum cans are introduced as they are to a first passage 4. The empty bottles and aluminum cans falling into the first passage 4 are pressed by a pressing member 42 and the empty bottles are finely crushed and the aluminum cans are crushed. The bottle splinters formed by the crushing enter a bottle splinter housing section 13 from a passage 5 for the bottle splinters. On the other hand, the crushed aluminum cans enter a passage 6 for the aluminum cans and are finely cut by an aluminum cutting device 7. The steel cans falling into the second passage 3 are finely cut by a steel cutting device 9 and are then admitted into a steel piece housing section 12. |
