<p>PURPOSE: To discriminate plastics of specified type positively from waste plastics. CONSTITUTION: This discrimination device consists of a crushing device which crushes waste plastics to a specified size, a heating-up furnace which preheats crushed plastic pieces, a microwave heating device 3 which heats the preheated plastic pieces M1 by microwave, a radiation pyrometer 6 which measures the temperature of the plastic piece M1, and a discrimination part 5 which discriminates plastics based on the results of temperature measurement. The microwave heating device 3 is equipped with a microwave generation device 41 which heats the plastic piece M1 on a conveyor belt 32. The discrimination part 5 is equipped with a first cylinder 51, a second cylinder 52 and a third chute 38 which discriminate PVC by pressing and discharging the plastic piece M1 from the conveyor belt 32 based on the temperature measurement results of the plastic piece M1 after heating.</p> |
