Controlling of a casting process for obtaining a cast product from a cast substance injected into a die cavity of a pair of casting dies by a fluid-operated injecting plunger and pressurized by a fluid operated squeezing plunger after the completion of an injecting process, an actual movement of the squeezing plunger being controlled to copy a desired curve with respect to a desired movement of the squeezing plunger versus an elapse of time from the start of the actual movement of the squeezing plunger.
