PURPOSE: To compactly constitute a sliding door opening and closing device in vehicle, suppress the rise of the height of a getting-on and -off step, and reduce the cost of the sliding door opening and closing device. CONSTITUTION: A roller support bracket 4 is pivotally fixed to the arm 2 tip of a sliding door 1 in vehicle, a horizontal roller 7 and vertical roller 8 supported by the roller support bracket 4 are guided to and rolled on a guide rail 11 and rail 12 arranged in a roller guide housing 10 under a getting-on and -off step 21, respectively. A synchronous belt 14 is laid on synchronous pulleys set in the front and rear of the guide rail 11 and rotated, respectively, and arranged along the inner and outer side surfaces of the guide rail 11, and the synchronous belt 14 is connected to the roller support bracket 4 by an interlocking bracket 16 and a pressing member 19. |
