PURPOSE: To obtain a film for shrink packaging which has both low-temp. shrinkability and heat resistance and is excellent in stretchability, flexibility, and toughness. CONSTITUTION: A polyethylene resin compsn. for a thermally shrinkable film is obtd. by mixing two polyethylene resins in a wt. ratio of (10:90)-(90:10). The first polyethylene resin is obtd. by the polymn. in the presence of a catalyst having one active center has a density of 0.860-0.920g/cm<3> , one crystal fusion peak as measured with a differential scanning calorimeter, and a temp. range from the fusion peak temp. to the complete fusion temp. of the whole crystal of 20 deg.C or lower. The second polyethylene resin is obtd. by the polymn. in the presence of a catalyst having a plurality of active centers and has a density of 0.905-0.945g/cm<3> , provided the density is higher than that of the first resin. |
