PURPOSE: To achieve cost reduction by reducing the number of parts by constituting a case main body by bonding a pair of cases at the peripheral edge parts of them and successively arranging electrodes, spacers and a diaphragm in the housing grooves of the cases and arranging electrodes between the spacers to constitute an electrolytic cell. CONSTITUTION: When tap water is continuously supplied from a water supply port and predetermined DC voltage is applined across a cathode plate 12 and an anode plate at the same time, alkali ion water and acidic water are made in cathode and anode electrolytic chambers by electrolysis to be emitted from water taking-out ports. When an electrolytic cell is assembled, a packing 11, a cathode plate and a spacer 13 are successively stacked to be housed in the housing groove 8 of a case 3 and a diaphragm 14 is superposed thereon and the peripheral edge part of the diaphragm 14 is thermally welded to the support surface of the case 3 to be fixed thereto. Thereafter, a spacer 15 and an anode plate are successively stacked to be housed in a distribution frame 23. |
