PURPOSE: To provide an ink-jet printer, in which dust lodged in a nozzle or the like is removed with a low cost means. CONSTITUTION: This ink-jet printer 9 is equipped with an ink containing part 22, a cleaning liquid containing part 24, a changing-over means 25 and a pump 27. When a nozzle is clogged with dust, the nozzle is cleaned with a low cost cleaning liquid 23 without sucking a large amount of ink 6 through the nozzle. |
