PURPOSE: To obtain a coalition promoter comprising a parathyroid hormone or its derivative as active ingredient, shortening a treatment period or preventing refracture of bone by promoting bone repair after bone distraction, bone fracture, bone transplantation, etc. CONSTITUTION: This coalition promoter comprises a parathyroid hormone(PTH) or its derivative as active ingredient. Human PTH (1-84) comprising a 84 amino acid residue is preferably as the PTH or its derivative. When the medicine is made into a solution, the PTH or its derivative is mixed with a proper protein or addition inhibitor. The medicine is administered in a frequency of once into two weeks to five times in a week or every day by hypodermic administration or intravenous administration. An administration period, for example, is preferably in a period between immediately after bone fracture to coalition. A dose of PTH is preferably 10<-12> to 10<-8> M on a tissue level by local administration and 1-500μg/head in ystemic administration.
